The electric butterfly valve is a valve that uses a circular disc as a starting and closing member and rotates with the valve stem to open, close and adjust the fluid passage. The butterfly valve is not only simple in structure, small in size, light in weight, low in material consumption, small in installation size, small in driving torque, simple and quick in operation, and also has good flow regulating function and closed sealing characteristics in large and medium calibers. In the field of low pressure use, butterfly valves are the dominant valve form.

Usually, the angular stroke electric actuator (0~90° partial rotation) and the butterfly valve are mechanically connected as a whole, and are assembled after commissioning.

According to the action mode, there are: switch type and adjustment type.

The switch type is directly connected to the power supply (AC220V or other power supply level) through the switch forward and reverse steering to complete the switching action.

The adjustment type is powered by the AC220V power supply, and receives the preset parameter value of the industrial automation control system of 4~20mA (0~5 and other weak current control) signals to complete the adjustment action.

The main purpose of electric butterfly valve:

Control of pipeline flow, pressure and temperature in various industrial automation production. For example: electricity, metallurgy, petrochemical, environmental protection, energy management, fire protection systems, etc.
